The Work People Do,
Priced Separately.

Your plan covers the platform. These are the things a person does for you, plus capacity beyond what the plan already includes. All of it is optional and none of it is a feature held back from your plan.

Direct Answer

What Counts as a Service?

A service is either work a person does for you, or extra capacity on top of what your plan already includes. Setup, search work, ongoing care and custom design are the first kind. Additional email volume is the second.

Everything else is platform, and platform comes with the plan. We do not hold a feature back and sell it as an add on, because a creator who has paid for the tool should get the whole tool. The only thing that scales with money is volume.

The Line

What Your Plan Covers,
and What It Does Not.

This is the distinction worth being clear about before you buy anything. If it is software, your plan already covers it. If it is somebody's time or extra capacity, it is priced separately.

Included with every plan:

  • Your website and your own domain
  • Horizon Studio, the full dashboard
  • Broadcast and the audience tools
  • The complete email sender, not a cut down version
  • 2,000 marketing sends a month, on both plans
  • Transactional mail, which never counts towards the allowance
  • Your site built with you, $500 for a website or $750 with a merch store
  • Unlimited merch products on Website + Merch, with no caps

Priced separately:

  • Having us set the site up with you, $500 once
  • Search work on your pages and content
  • Email volume beyond the monthly allowance
  • Horizon Care, $49 a month for up to one hour of changes made for you, and extra time at $75 an hour
  • Brand matching beyond the theme as it ships, from $750, and writing your content for you, $250
  • Horizon Vault, which is a $250 setup then $49 a month addition to Website + Merch, by application
What We Offer

Five Ways to Get
More Hands On It.

Additional Email Volume

Up to one hour of changes made for you each month: copy, links, images, products and launches. Unused time does not roll over, and time above the hour is $75 an hour in 30 minute blocks. Hosting, backups and fixing anything that is our fault are already in every plan.

Email Volume

You Buy Volume,
Never Features.

Email is the one place where paying more gets you more, so it is worth spelling out exactly how the allowance works.

How the Allowance Works

What Is Included both plans

2,000 marketing sends a month. Each individual email to one subscriber counts as one send, so a campaign to 1,000 subscribers uses 1,000 of the allowance.

What Never Counts transactional

Order confirmations, shipping notices and signup confirmations do not touch the allowance. Your own orders can never eat into your newsletter.

When You Outgrow It buy volume

You are notified before you reach the limit. Additional volume can be purchased, or your plan changed for the following billing period. The sender itself never changes.

FAQ

Common Questions About
Services.

What is the difference between the platform and a service?

The platform is the software your plan pays for and it is the same for everyone on that plan. A service is either work a person does for you, such as setup, search work or ongoing care, or extra capacity such as email volume beyond the included allowance.

Is Email Broadcasts a paid upgrade?

No. Email Broadcasts is included on both plans, with the complete sender and 2,000 marketing sends a month. Order confirmations, shipping notices and signup confirmations do not count towards that allowance. You only pay when you want more volume than the allowance covers.

Do I have to buy any of this to launch?

No. Every service on this page is optional. You can run your site on the plan alone once it is set up; setup itself is $500 for a website or $750 with a merch store, and every other service here is optional.

How is setup priced?

$500 once for a website, $750 once for a website and merch store built together, and $250 once to add a store to a website you already have with us. Monthly fees apply on top of setup: $39 or $69 a month, or $390 or $690 a year with two months free.

Can I add a service later?

Yes. Services are not tied to your signup, so you can add search work, care or extra email volume at the point it makes commercial sense rather than committing up front.

Why is search work quoted rather than fixed?

Because the work depends on how many pages you have, what you already rank for and how competitive your terms are. A fixed price would either overcharge small sites or underdeliver on large ones.

Not Sure Which of These
You Actually Need?

Most creators need fewer of these than they expect. Book a call and we will tell you which ones would earn their cost for your business, including when the answer is none of them.
