Security & Compliance
Last updated: June 21, 2026
At Automate Horizon, we believe in empowering creators while ensuring the safety, legality, and stability of their digital businesses. This policy outlines how we manage the infrastructure of the websites we host, our security protocols, and the compliance standards required for operating in the adult industry.
1. Our Core Philosophy: Your Ownership, Our Protection
We recognise that your website is your digital business. We fully respect your creative control and your right to manage the content, images, wording, and look and feel of your online presence.
Operating in the adult sector brings specific legal and financial responsibilities that standard businesses do not face. Our role is not to censor your vision. It is to act as your compliance guardrails. We ensure that your creative choices do not accidentally cross legal or financial lines that could result in site shutdowns, payment freezes, or legal exposure.
2. How We Work: The Building Manager Model
The simplest way to understand our role is to think of our hosting environment as a secure apartment building.
- You are the tenant. You decide the decor, the furniture, and how your space looks. You have full autonomy over your content and brand.
- We are the building managers. We maintain the security infrastructure: the foundation, the electrical wiring, and the locks. But we also enforce building codes. Just as a building manager must ensure a tenant is not violating codes that could endanger the whole building, we must ensure your site stays within the legal framework that governs hosting and payments in this industry.
This is not about control. It is about protection. An unmaintained site on our network is a risk to every other site on our infrastructure.
3. Content Classification & Age Verification
To protect our clients from federal and state enforcement (USA, UK, EU), we distinguish between two categories of content:
Standard & Artistic Content: Creators have broad creative freedom here. However, the boundary between artistic and suggestive content is often a grey area. We advise caution and encourage creators to consider their audience jurisdiction before publishing borderline material.
Explicit & Restricted Content: If your site features sexually explicit content, Age Verification (AV) software is a legal requirement in a growing number of jurisdictions, including US states (Florida, Texas, Utah, and others), the UK Online Safety Act, and EU regulations. Sites on the Automate Horizon network displaying explicit content without a compliant AV gate are in breach of our Terms of Service and will be suspended. See our ToS ยง6 for full obligations.
4. Security Infrastructure We Maintain
We run specific background systems to keep every site on our network safe, visible, and compliant. These cannot be disabled by individual site owners.
Web Application Firewall (Wordfence Enterprise): Bots continuously scan the internet for outdated or misconfigured sites to target with DDoS attacks and malware injection. We run Wordfence at the network level and update it continuously. Disabling or bypassing this protection exposes not just your site but every other site on our shared infrastructure to attack.
RankMath SEO: We manage your site’s structured metadata, the “digital ID” that search engines and social platforms read. Because social accounts in the adult industry are frequently banned or suspended, we give clients access to update their own social preview handles via RankMath if they are forced to rebrand.
Anti-DDoS & Uptime Monitoring: All sites are monitored for unusual traffic patterns. Sites under active attack may be temporarily taken offline to protect the network and restored as soon as the threat is mitigated.
5. Payment Gateway: CCBill Only
All payment processing on Automate Horizon’s network is handled exclusively through CCBill, LLC. We do not support Stripe, PayPal, or Square for adult-related transactions.
Why: Mainstream payment providers operate aggressive acceptable-use policies that frequently result in account freezes and closures for adult creators, even for entirely legal transactions. We have seen creators lose weeks of revenue to unannounced PayPal and Stripe holds. CCBill is purpose-built for the adult industry. They do not pose this risk.
How this works for you: Automate Horizon is a CCBill Preferred Partner. We manage the technical integration so that your billing is stable, your subscription renewals are automated, and your revenue does not stop because of a policy decision made by a payment processor that does not understand your business.
6. Our Hosting Infrastructure
All sites on the Automate Horizon network run on enterprise-grade managed WordPress infrastructure. This is not shared commodity hosting.
Managed IP Reputation: Creator content sites and billing infrastructure run on separate IPs, so a reputation issue on one can never drag down the other. Your content site runs on Automate Horizon’s own dedicated hosting, not a public shared pool packed with unrelated “neighbours” whose behaviour you cannot control. Email is sent through dedicated, authenticated sending domains, so your deliverability never rides on the web host’s IP.
NVMe Storage: Industrial-grade SSD storage for maximum read/write performance across all sites.
Isolated Containers: Sites share the same physical infrastructure but run in isolated containers. Every site has dedicated RAM and CPU allocation. One site’s traffic spike cannot steal resources from another.
Automated Maintenance: We perform WordPress core updates, PHP version upgrades, plugin security patches, and theme updates without requiring action from you. These are non-negotiable. An outdated site on our network is a security risk to every other site.
7. Theme & Platform Integrity
The Automate Horizon theme is purpose-built to function as a controller layer for our proprietary platform. It is directly and specifically configured to interface with our systems. You may not:
- Attempt to modify, copy, or extract the theme’s source code.
- Disable, bypass, or circumvent any Automate Horizon security plugin, AV gate, or platform monitoring tool.
- Install plugins or code that conflict with our security infrastructure.
Violation of any of these restrictions is grounds for immediate account suspension under our Terms of Service.
8. Questions & Security Reports
If you believe you have identified a security vulnerability on our platform, or if you have questions about our compliance obligations, please contact us directly rather than disclosing publicly.
