Website + Merch · Podcast · Roster
Trashy Imports is the first site built on the shared podcast framework. Rather than a one-off custom theme, every page type on the site renders from the platform itself: the roster, individual host and guest profiles, episodes, the merch store, updates, the about and contact pages, and the full legal set. That means the layout is maintained centrally and improvements reach the site without a rebuild.
Project Overview
Trashy Imports is a podcast and merch brand with a shared roster of hosts and guests. The site runs on Automate Horizon as a full Website + Merch build on its own domain, with the podcast, the roster and the store all managed from one place.
The build covers 13 published pages and a 14 product merch store on trashyimports.com. Hosts and guests are managed as roster entries with their own profile pages and their own URLs, so a new guest is added once and appears everywhere they should. The store, the updates feed and the legal pages are all part of the same system, and the site carries its own legal identity.
Every page type on the site renders from the platform rather than a bespoke theme, so the roster, episodes, store and updates are all maintained in one place.
Hosts and guests each have their own profile and their own URL, added once and surfaced everywhere they belong.
A 14 product print on demand store running on trashyimports.com, with the cart, checkout and the full shipping and returns set.
Announcements publish to the site feed and can go to subscribers and connected channels from the same composer.
